Remote Speech-Language Pathologist Position in Illinois
VocoVision is collaborating with a school district in Illinois to hire a remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2024-2025 school year. This is a full-time position, and prior experience in a school setting is required. The district is eager to fill this role, so we encourage you to apply for immediate consideration!
Note: You do not need to reside in Illinois to apply; however, you must hold a license in both your home state and Illinois.
Job Details:
- Full-time for the 2024-2025 School Year
- Hourly rate: $50-$55, paid weekly
- Rate depends on virtual experience
- Covers both direct and indirect services
- This position is classified as an independent contractor role
- Professional liability insurance is required upon offer
- Further details regarding scheduling and caseload will be discussed in a Zoom interview with the director/coordinator
Responsibilities:
- Conduct remote evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses of speech, voice, hearing, and language impairments
- Primarily focus on supervision and indirect services
- Collaborate remotely with teachers and other school personnel to implement interventions
Experience:
- Minimum of two years in a school-based setting is required
Certification:
- Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Current state clearances (fingerprints, TB testing if applicable, background check, etc.)
