ProCare Therapy is excited to offer a remote opportunity for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide virtual therapy services to students across Indiana. This position allows you to focus on your expertise, helping students overcome communication barriers while working from the comfort of your own home. Key Responsibilities:
- Speech and Language Assessments: Conduct evaluations to identify students’ communication needs, including articulation, fluency, and comprehension challenges.
- IEP Creation: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s specific needs and goals.
- Therapy Sessions: Provide individualized and small group therapy sessions that address students’ speech and language needs in a supportive virtual setting.
- Collaboration: Work alongside educators, parents, and other school professionals to create a holistic support system for students.
- Advocacy: Ensure students have the necessary resources to succeed academically and socially by advocating for their communication needs.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Must hold an active state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Indiana (required).
- Educator Certification: Must have an educator certification through the state of Indiana (required).
- Education: A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is preferred.
- Certification: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is required.
- Experience: Experience working with PreK-12 students is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
