Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose disorders in speech, language, voice, and fluency; create and implement personalized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide therapy directly, monitor progress, and adapt treatment plans as needed.
- Work with teachers, parents, and school staff to address and support communication needs.
- Carry out screenings, maintain detailed records, and engage in team meetings for effective planning.
- Advocate for students, offer training to staff, and participate in continuous professional development.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current North Carolina Teaching Certification optional
- North Carolina SLP license required
- ASHA CCC-SLP Certification
- Experience providing virtual therapy services is a plus
- Fast/reliable computer & internet connection
- No Chromebooks/tablets permitted
