West Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist Work From Home

VocoVision is searching for a Speech-Language Pathologist for a remote position in West Virginia. Teletherapy provides flexible scheduling and allows therapists to support students who might not otherwise have access to on-site services.
About VocoVision: We specialize in connecting schools with qualified tele-practitioners. You’ll provide therapy, assessments, and support to students either individually or in larger groups, all through our online platform. The flexibility of the platform allows for easy collaboration with other school staff. Both full-year and short-term positions are available.
Teletherapy eliminates the need for commuting and allows you to work from home, offering greater professional flexibility. VocoVision provides clinical and technical training as well as 24/7 support to ensure a successful remote experience.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, diagnoses, and therapy for students with speech impairments remotely.
- Collaborate with a team to provide recommendations for special education students.
- Work with the Special Education Coordinator to set IEP goals and therapy plans.
- Serve as a resource to school staff for speech, language, and literacy development.
- Analyze and collect data related to school progress and student outcomes.
- Assist in differentiating instruction to enhance student engagement.
Skills:
- Experience in teletherapy is a plus but not required; support and training will be provided.
- Effective communication skills for working with students, families, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in using software for documentation and reports.
- Ability to troubleshoot common software and hardware challenges related to speech therapy.
- A dedication to working with diverse students, including those with disabilities and at-risk children.
- Strong organizational and decision-making skills.
- Attention to detail in managing sensitive student information.
Experience:
- 2-3 years in a school environment.
- Articulation, receptive, and expressive speech therapy experience is a plus.
- Teletherapy experience is a plus.
Education:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
License:
- Active West Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
- Must hold an active license in both the state of residence and the state of the school district.
