School-Based SLP Opportunities in West Virginia
Are you a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensed in West Virginia looking for a rewarding school-based position? We are actively seeking passionate SLPs to provide essential speech and language services to students in K-12 settings across the state.
Position Details:
- Location: Various school districts across West Virginia
- Employment Type: Full-Time & Part-Time Positions Available
- Start Date: ASAP or for the 2024-2025 school year
- Setting: Onsite only
- Caseload: Varies by district (Elementary, Middle, and/or High School)
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy to students in accordance with their IEPs
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine speech and language needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and required documentation
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid West Virginia SLP license
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- ASHA CCC-SLP preferred (CFs with supervision may be considered)
- Prior school-based experience is a plus but not required
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
