Virtual Speech Therapist | Richmond Schools | Remote Educational Position
We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our school-based team in a fully remote capacity, serving students in the Richmond area. This position offers the flexibility of working from home while making a meaningful impact on students' lives.
Position Overview
Work with K-12 students virtually to provide expert speech and language services, evaluations, and interventions in an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments virtually
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
- Provide teletherapy services to students with various communication disorders
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Meet all state and federal guidelines for speech-language services in schools
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Virginia
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Minimum of 2 years of school-based experience
- Strong technological proficiency and experience with teletherapy platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining collaboration with team members
Schedule
- Full-time, Monday-Friday
- Regular school calendar year
- Flexible hours within school day parameters
