Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose disorders in speech, language, voice, and fluency; develop and apply individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide therapy services, monitor student outcomes, and adjust treatment plans to meet evolving needs.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and staff to support students’ communication development.
- Conduct evaluations, maintain thorough records, and participate in team discussions for effective planning.
- Support advocacy efforts, provide training for staff, and engage in ongoing professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorder, or related field
- Connecticut Teaching Certification optional
- Connecticut SLP license required
- ASHA CCC-SLP Certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders
- Experience providing virtual therapy services is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fast/reliable computer & internet connection
- No Chromebooks/tablets permitted
