Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose disorders in speech, language, voice, and fluency; create and apply individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Provide direct therapeutic services, track student progress, and adjust treatment as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school personnel to enhance students' communication abilities.
- Perform evaluations, maintain comprehensive documentation, and actively participate in planning team meetings.
- Advocate for student needs, keep updated on new trends in the field, and pursue ongoing professional education.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorder, or related field
- Alaska Teaching Certification Type C required
- Alaska SLP license required
- ASHA CCC-SLP Certification
Highlights:
- 1099 Position
- Hourly Rate: $45-$55
- Hourly rate consistent across direct/indirect hours/planning periods
