Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Remote (Louisiana-based)
Contract Type: Full-Time, 1099 Contract through Soliant Education
About Us:
Soliant Education connects dedicated professionals with schools to enhance student success. We’re seeking a full-time Remote Speech-Language Pathologist to support students across Louisiana. This position is a 1099 contract role, offering the flexibility to work from home.
Responsibilities:
- Provide remote speech and language therapy services to students in Louisiana.
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement personalized therapy plans.
- Conduct virtual therapy sessions and monitor student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to achieve student goals.
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings and assist with setting objectives.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid SLP license in Louisiana.
- ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience with K-12 students is desirable.
- Proficiency in using technology for remote therapy.
Requirements:
- Pass a technology screening to ensure compatibility with remote therapy tools.
- Obtain liability insurance before starting the assignment.
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly rate as a 1099 contractor.
