Virtual School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Remote (Serving students in Virginia)
Position Type: Full-time/Part-time Contract Opportunities
Pay: $47/Hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students in a virtual setting.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services via teletherapy platforms.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student development.
- Offer training and resources to teachers and parents to facilitate carryover of speech and language skills.
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other relevant meetings.
- Stay current with best practices, research, and developments in the field of speech-language pathology and virtual education.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as school policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Virginia SLP license (or eligibility for licensure in Virginia).
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
