Virtual School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Remote (Washington State)
Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time Contract
Pay: $50/Hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of students' speech, language, and communication needs using virtual tools and techniques.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other school personnel.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students via teletherapy platforms.
- Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to meet individual needs and goals.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate speech and language goals into the general education curriculum.
- Provide training and resources to parents and teachers to support students' speech and language development.
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other relevant meetings as needed.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Washington State SLP license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
- Experience in a school setting, preferably with virtual/teletherapy experience.
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes and special education laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and technology.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
