Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist – Supporting Students in Lansing, MI
Location: Lansing, MI (Remote)
Position Type: Full-Time or Part-Time (K-12)
About VocoVision:
VocoVision is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide remote services to K-12 students in Lansing, Michigan. In this role, you will work directly with students to address speech and language disorders, offering virtual therapy and support to help them succeed academically and socially.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide virtual speech and language therapy to students with various communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet students’ specific goals.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school teams to track student progress and adjust strategies as needed.
- Attend IEP meetings and offer insights on speech and language goals for students.
- Support teachers in adapting classroom materials and strategies for students with communication challenges.
- Maintain accurate therapy logs and comply with Michigan’s special education regulations.
What You Need:
- Valid Michigan licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- At least two years of experience as an SLP, with teletherapy experience preferred.
- Proficiency in using virtual therapy tools and platforms.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for remote teamwork.
- A reliable internet connection and a professional, quiet workspace.
