Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Independent Contractor Opportunity in New Mexico
ProCare Therapy is seeking a highly skilled speech-language pathologist (SLP) for a fully remote, 1099 independent contractor position in New Mexico. This opportunity allows you to provide virtual speech therapy services to students from the comfort of your home. Position Overview:
- Role: Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Independent Contractor
- Type: Remote, 1099 Contract Position
- State: New Mexico
- Pay: Competitive hourly rate (discussed during interview)
- Requirements: Liability insurance required upon accepting the position
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual speech therapy services according to student IEPs (Individualized Education Plans)
- Conduct student evaluations, assessments, and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school support networks to create and implement therapy goals
- Submit invoices and service logs for completed sessions (instead of timesheets)
- Use online platforms to deliver effective, engaging, and interactive therapy sessions
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active New Mexico SLP license (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) (preferred)
- Proficiency with virtual therapy platforms and strong technical skills
- Liability insurance required upon accepting the position
