Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology: Earned from an accredited program, meeting Indiana’s educational standards.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP): Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Indiana State Licensure: Must hold or be eligible for a valid Indiana SLP license to practice.
- Indiana Teaching Certification: Required for school-based roles; can be obtained with assistance if needed.
- Experience: Two (2) years of experience in school-based or pediatric speech therapy preferred.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, educators, and administrators.
Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual speech therapy services to students in PreK-12 across Indiana.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students’ speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s goals.
- Deliver engaging, interactive therapy sessions using advanced teletherapy tools.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to foster student success.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with Indiana state regulations.
