Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide remote therapy services to students in Monticello, GA. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering speech-language services in a virtual setting, helping students improve their communication skills through online platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual evaluations of students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs, delivered through online platforms.
- Provide direct therapy services to students via video conferencing, including individual and group sessions.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate virtual therapy strategies into the classroom and home environments.
- Maintain detailed records of virtual therapy sessions, progress reports, and student outcomes.
- Participate in virtual Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, offering insights and recommendations for students' speech and language goals.
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in teletherapy and speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Georgia.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Proven experience with teletherapy platforms and virtual service delivery.
- Strong communication, organizational, and technical skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and educational staff in a virtual environment.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
