About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensed in Michigan to join our team! This is a fully virtual position that allows you to provide essential speech and language services to students across Michigan from the comfort of your own home. As a 1099 contractor, you’ll enjoy flexible hours while making a positive impact on the lives of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations of students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) to support student communication goals.
- Provide speech therapy services tailored to each student’s needs, with measurable progress goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success.
- Monitor and report on student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations for school-based services.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Michigan SLP license (required).
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working in a school or educational setting.
- Familiarity with virtual platforms for delivering therapy is a plus.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
