A School district in Georgia is seeking a skilled and compassionate Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team of remote clinicians. As a 1099 contractor, you'll have the flexibility to work from anywhere while making a significant impact in the lives of students with speech and language needs. We specialize in providing high-quality teletherapy services to school districts, ensuring that students have access to the therapy they need no matter where they are.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide virtual speech and language therapy services to students via telehealth platforms.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans (IEPs) that address students' specific needs.
  • Collaborate remotely with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student progress and educational goals.
  • Provide direct therapy to students in individual or small group settings using interactive online tools.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
  • Participate in virtual IEP meetings and team discussions.
  • Maintain confidentiality of student records and comply with state and federal regulations (HIPAA, FERPA).
  • Provide feedback to parents on progress and offer strategies for home support.
  • Stay current with best practices in virtual speech-language therapy and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Required: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Required: Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in both the state where you reside and the state you will be contracting in.
  • Required: ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFs
  • Required: Professional Liability Insurance (or willingness to obtain).
  • Experience with teletherapy or virtual learning environments is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with school-aged children with diverse speech-language needs (special education, speech/language delays, autism, etc.).
  • Strong communication and technology skills, with the ability to engage students in a virtual setting.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage a caseload.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new platforms and technology.

Pay:

  • Pay: Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience and caseload.

  • Contractor Status: 1099, flexible work schedule.

  • Required: You will need to carry your own professional liability insurance as a 1099 contractor
