Are you a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) based in Alabama? VocoVision is currently hiring a Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide teletherapy services to students across the state of Alabama. This is a remote position, offering the flexibility of working from home while making a meaningful impact on students' lives.

About the Role:

As a Virtual SLP with VocoVision, you will deliver teletherapy to children and adolescents with speech and language disorders. This role is ideal for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Alabama who holds, or is in the process of obtaining, an Alabama teaching certificate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Virtual Speech Therapy: Provide individual and group therapy sessions remotely to students with speech and language needs.
  • Assess and Evaluate: Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of students’ speech and language abilities.
  • Develop Therapy Plans: Create and implement tailored therapy plans to address each student’s unique needs.
  • Collaborate with School Teams: Work closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to track progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
  • Document and Maintain Records: Keep detailed records of student progress, therapy sessions, and evaluations to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Utilize Telehealth Tools: Leverage VocoVision's teletherapy platform to deliver engaging, effective speech therapy remotely.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
  • Active Alabama State SLP License
  • Alabama Teaching Certificate (or pending certification) required
  • Experience providing therapy to children and adolescents is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Comfort with technology and virtual therapy tools
