Job Title: Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (School-Based, 1099)
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Telehealth Speech Language Pathologist in Louisiana to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing speech and language therapy services to students in a school-based setting via telehealth. As a 1099 contractor, you will have the flexibility to work from home while still making a difference in the lives of students.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
- Provide direct therapy services to students via telehealth
- Collaborate with school personnel, parents, and other professionals to support students’ speech and language needs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and therapy sessions
- Attend IEP meetings and provide input on students’ communication needs and progress
- Adhere to state and federal laws and regulations related to speech and language services in schools
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Louisiana State licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Experience providing speech and language services to school-aged children
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable using telehealth technology to deliver services
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload of students
