Position Details:
- Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Contract Type: 1099 Independent Contractor (Full-Time or Part-Time options available)
- Work Setting: Fully remote, serving New Mexico school districts
- Caseload: Primarily focused on elementary-level students with mild to moderate speech and language needs
About the Role:
This teletherapy opportunity provides the chance to deliver specialized services to students in remote or underserved communities across New Mexico. As a virtual SLP, you’ll use innovative tools and techniques to create impactful, engaging therapy sessions tailored to meet each student’s unique needs—all while enjoying the convenience and flexibility of working from home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments to address communication challenges.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals.
- Provide engaging therapy sessions utilizing various online resources and strategies.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student growth.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active New Mexico licensure (or willingness to obtain certification)
- ASHA CCC-SLP certification
- Proficiency in teletherapy platforms and reliable internet connection
- Prior school-based experience is preferred but not required
