Position Summary:
Soliant Education is looking for a talented and dedicated Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work with students in the state of Illinois. This is a full-time, full-year contracted position that offers the flexibility of remote work. As a virtual SLP, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and providing therapy to students with speech and language disorders, while working closely with school teams to ensure successful outcomes for students.
Required Qualifications:
- ASHA Certification
- Illinois State SLP License
- Completed and Passed Tech Screen
- Ability to obtain liability insurance prior to starting
- Previous school-based experience is preferred, but not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments and screenings for speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct speech therapy services through a virtual platform
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to track and support student progress
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations as needed
- Stay informed on best practices in teletherapy and speech-language pathology
