Virtual Speech Language Pathologist in Pennsylvania
Jackson, PA
Location: Remote (Pennsylvania School District)
Vocovision is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologist to work remotely for a school district in Pennsylvania with K-12 students. In this role, you will provide comprehensive speech and language services to students within the district. You will assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our students.
Requirements:
- Active Pennsylvania state license in Speech-Language Pathology
- Pennsylvania Teaching Certification
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- ASHA CCC's
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist, preferably in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development, communication disorders, and evidence-based intervention strategies
- Familiarity with telepractice tools and platforms is desirable but not required
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate and students' speech and language abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Provide direct therapy services to students using telepractice tools and platforms
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to coordinate services and support students' communication needs
- Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, progress reports, and treatment plans
