Procare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in North Carolina. This is a remote position, offering the flexibility to work from home while making a meaningful impact on the lives of students. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive speech and language services to students with diverse needs in a virtual setting, ensuring they receive the support they need to thrive academically and socially.
Responsibilities:
- Assessment & Evaluation: Conduct virtual assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Individualized Therapy: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's specific needs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure a holistic approach to each student's therapy.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of student progress, treatment plans, and communication logs, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- IEP Meetings: Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to discuss student progress and update treatment goals.
- Consultation: Provide consultation and support to parents and educators regarding speech and language development.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Active Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of North Carolina.
- Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using teletherapy platforms, digital tools, and virtual communication methods.
- Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, families, and colleagues in a virtual environment.
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt to different schedules and student needs, demonstrating patience and creativity in a remote setting.
