About Us: At ProCare Therapy, we are dedicated to providing exceptional educational support to students across Illinois. We specialize in offering virtual therapy services, and we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team on a contract basis.
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic 1099 Virtual School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide remote therapy services to students in K-12. The ideal candidate will have experience working with school-aged children and be comfortable delivering therapy in a virtual setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide direct therapy services via video conferencing platforms.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and provide necessary input for student goals.
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Illinois state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Proven experience in providing speech-language therapy to school-aged children.
- Familiarity with virtual therapy tools and platforms.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
