Requirements:
- ASHA Certification
- Active Georgia State SLP License
- Tech Screen Completed and Passed
- Ability to obtain liability insurance prior to starting
- Previous school-based experience is preferred, but not required
Position Overview:
Soliant Education is seeking a qualified and dedicated Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work with students in Georgia. This full-time, full-year contracted position allows for remote work, providing flexibility while making a significant impact on students' communication development.
As a virtual SLP, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, diagnosing speech and language disorders, and providing therapy services. You will also collaborate with school staff and parents to support student progress and success.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments and screenings for speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students
- Provide virtual therapy sessions to address speech and language needs
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to track student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and offer professional recommendations
- Stay updated on best practices in teletherapy and speech-language pathology
