Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and provide remote therapy services to students across South Carolina. This 1099 contract position offers the flexibility to work from home while making a significant impact on the communication development of students.
As a Virtual SLP, you will provide speech and language assessments, therapy sessions, and individualized support to students in need. You will have access to a comprehensive toolkit designed to enhance your lessons, as well as ongoing support from a clinical and technical team to ensure your success in this remote role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual speech and language therapy to students across South Carolina
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language challenges
- Develop personalized treatment plans and set measurable goals for each student
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school staff to create a comprehensive support plan
- Utilize a comprehensive toolkit to integrate effective strategies and resources into lessons
- Maintain detailed records of student progress, therapy plans, and communications with families
Qualifications:
- Valid South Carolina teaching certification in Speech-Language Pathology
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
- Experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Comfort with virtual platforms for delivering therapy and assessments
- Ability to manage your own schedule and work independently
