Are you an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist seeking flexibility? VocoVision is currently hiring SLP-CCC licensed in Kansas to work with a top-tier school district.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to diagnose speech and language disorders or delays in students.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to students' communication needs.
- Provide virtual speech and language therapy sessions using evidence-based methods.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers to integrate communication goals into students' academic plans.
- Track and document students' progress toward their therapy goals.
- Offer guidance to educators and families on fostering communication skills in a virtual learning environment.
- Attend virtual IEP meetings and engage in team discussions as needed.
- Stay informed about current best practices and research in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Active license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Kansas.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Minimum of two years of school-based or educational experience (clinical experience considered case-by-case).
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and technology is preferred.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and an up-to-date personal computer.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
