Virtual School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Job
Central Point, OR
Blazer Jobs is seeking a Remote Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide teletherapy services to students in Central Point, Oregon. This is a full-time, contract position for the upcoming school year. We are looking for a dedicated professional who is passionate about supporting students’ communication needs in a virtual learning environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments, evaluations, and therapy sessions for students with speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEP goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school district requirements.
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations.
- Utilize teletherapy platforms to deliver engaging and effective speech-language therapy services.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- License & Certification: Must hold a valid Oregon SLP license issued by the Oregon Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. ASHA CCC-SLP certification is required.
- Additional Requirements: Must hold or be eligible for an Oregon Teaching License with an endorsement in Speech-Language Pathology from the Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC).
- Experience: Minimum of one year of school-based experience required. Prior teletherapy experience is preferred.
- Must have a reliable computer, high-speed internet, and proficiency with teletherapy software.
