Job Summary:
VocoVision is actively looking for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide virtual services to K-12 students throughout Michigan. This independent contractor position allows you to work remotely while using VocoVision’s cutting-edge teletherapy platform to help students overcome communication challenges. This is a great opportunity to support Michigan schools and students while enjoying the flexibility of telepractice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual evaluations to assess students’ speech and language needs.
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with Michigan IEP standards.
- Deliver engaging and effective therapy sessions through VocoVision’s secure platform.
- Work alongside with educators, parents, and school personnel to ensure student success.
- Document student progress, update goals as necessary, and provide timely feedback.
- Attend virtual IEP meetings and contribute professional insights specific to Wisconsin education guidelines.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Current Michigan SLP license.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Prior school-based experience or familiarity with Michigan educational standards (preferred).
- Sound technical skills and comfort with virtual platforms.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
