Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our remote school-based team serving Peoria, IL. The Virtual SLP will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and providing therapy to students with speech, language, and communication disorders through virtual platforms, supporting their academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments to diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
- Provide direct therapy services to students via virtual platforms, including one-on-one and group sessions.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapy goals into the remote learning environment.
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings and contribute to the development and review of student-specific goals and objectives.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and secure records of evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid SLP license or certification in Illinois.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience with teletherapy or virtual service delivery is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, organizational, and technical skills for virtual platforms.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a virtual multidisciplinary team.
