Job Description:
Soliant is actively seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school district in Camden, WV. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to work with students, helping them improve their communication skills and succeed academically.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify students' needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans targeting speech, language, and communication goals.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students with a range of communication disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication development.
- Monitor and document students' progress, making necessary adjustments to therapy plans to ensure successful outcomes.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans for students requiring speech and language services.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid West Virginia state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is preferred, but Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in a school setting is a plus, but not required.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
