Remote Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity
VocoVision is collaborating with a well-regarded school district in the Kyle, TX area to find a skilled remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position during the 2024-2025 school year. Ideal candidates will have prior school-based experience. This role is open immediately, so apply now for prompt consideration!
Applicants do not need to reside in Texas, but must hold a license in both their current state and Texas.
Position Details:
- Type: Full-time, for the 2024-2025 academic year
- Pay: $45-$47 per hour, with weekly payments
- Compensation: Based on experience in virtual settings
- Scope: Includes both direct and indirect services
- Status: Independent contractor role
- Insurance: Professional liability insurance required upon hiring
- Additional Info: Detailed schedule and caseload information will be discussed during a Zoom interview with the director or coordinator
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct remote evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses for speech, voice, hearing, and language issues.
- Primarily focus on supervision and indirect services.
- Work collaboratively online with educators and school staff to apply effective interventions.
Experience Required:
- Minimum of two years in a school-based environment.
Certifications:
- Texas Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Bilingual skills in Spanish are preferred but not mandatory
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Up-to-date state clearances (fingerprints, TB test if necessary, background check, etc.)
