About VocoVision:
VocoVision is looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to provide virtual therapy sessions for K-12 students in Bakersfield, California. As part of our remote team, you’ll work with students to help them enhance their mobility, strength, coordination, and overall functional independence, all from the convenience of your home office.
Your Role:
- Conduct remote physical therapy assessments to evaluate students' motor skills, balance, strength, and coordination.
- Create and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to the specific needs and goals of each student.
- Deliver engaging virtual therapy sessions, focusing on building skills that foster independence in academic and social settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary.
- Participate in IEP and 504 meetings to ensure students receive appropriate accommodations and services.
- Maintain detailed, confidential records in compliance with California’s special education guidelines.
What You Need:
- A valid California Physical Therapist license.
- Doctoral or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy.
- At least two years of experience working in a school-based setting (teletherapy experience preferred).
- Proficiency with virtual therapy platforms and online tools.
