Position Overview:
VocoVision is looking for a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team remotely. This full-time role allows you to work from the comfort of your home while making a meaningful impact on the lives of your clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform virtual assessments to evaluate speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities.
- Create personalized treatment plans based on assessment results, customized to meet each client's specific needs and goals.
- Deliver virtual therapy sessions using evidence-based methods and innovative telepractice tools.
- Work collaboratively with clients' families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress reports, and billing information.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent).
- Active state licensure.
- Proven experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist, with preference given to those with telepractice experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with clients and families from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in using teletherapy platforms and other technology required for virtual sessions.
- Ability to manage a caseload independently while adhering to professional and ethical standards.
