Job Overview:
Vocovision is looking for a passionate and experienced Remote Autism Specialist to join our team! This full-time position supports K-12 students in Oregon, providing tailored interventions for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). If you're dedicated to making a difference and have a background in working with students with ASD, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual assessments, IEP development, and evidence-based interventions for K-12 students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Work collaboratively with families, teachers, and school staff to develop and implement individualized learning and behavioral plans.
- Offer support in improving social, communication, and emotional skills for students with ASD.
- Track student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Stay current with the latest autism research and best practices in remote service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (K-12).
- Knowledge of ABA and other autism-specific interventions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with families and school teams remotely.
- Certification as an Autism Specialist or BCBA preferred.
