Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Rocky Mount, VA for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on students' communication skills and overall educational experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct therapy and support to students with speech and language needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of therapy progress.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid state licensure as an SLP.
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Experience in a school setting is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
