Vermont Speech-Language Pathologist - Remote for 2025 School Year

VocoVision is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a remote teletherapy position with a Vermont school district for the 2025 school year. This role allows you to work from home while delivering important speech therapy services to students in need.

Responsibilities:
- Provide remote speech and language evaluations, therapy, and diagnoses.
- Collaborate with school teams to identify students requiring special education services and develop interventions.
- Partner with Special Education Coordinators to create and monitor IEP goals and therapy plans.
- Serve as a resource for teachers regarding speech and language strategies.
- Track and analyze student progress to inform educational strategies.
Skills:
- Teletherapy experience is beneficial but not necessary.
- Strong communication skills and ability to foster positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in speech therapy software and documentation tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot common technical issues.
- Experience working with diverse student populations and special education students is a plus.
Experience:
- 2-3 years in a school setting preferred.
- Experience in articulation and language therapy is a plus.
- Teletherapy experience is an advantage.
Education:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
License:
- Vermont SLP license required.
- Must hold an active license in both your state of residence and the state of the school district.
