Job Opportunity: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – New Mexico
Are you a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students? Join our dedicated team in New Mexico, offering flexible options for onsite employment or virtual 1099 contractor roles.
Position Details:
- Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
- Location: New Mexico (Onsite or Virtual 1099 Options Available)
- Caseload: PreK-12th grade students, with varying speech and language needs
- Start/End Date: Flexible, aligned with the 2024-2025 school year
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations to determine therapy needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services to students with diverse communication challenges
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of services provided
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid New Mexico SLP licensure and ASHA CCC-SLP certification
- Experience in school-based settings preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with virtual therapy platforms (if applying for remote 1099 roles)
