Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team! The ideal candidate will work closely with children, adolescents, and/or adults (depending on setting) to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and communication disorders. This full-time, on-site position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our clients in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments, including standardized testing and observations.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, goals, and client needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to individuals with speech and language disorders, using evidence-based interventions.
  • Collaborate with families, teachers, caregivers, and other professionals to support client progress and treatment goals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all services provided, including assessments, progress notes, and reports.
  • Educate clients and families on speech and language development and strategies to support communication at home and in daily life.
  • Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and professional development opportunities to continue growing as an SLP.
  • Adhere to all ethical guidelines and state/national licensure requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid Michigan state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
