This 1099 contract position allows you to work remotely, providing vital speech therapy services to students across the state. Key Responsibilities:
- Teletherapy Services: Provide remote speech-language therapy to students with diverse speech and language needs, including articulation, fluency, language delays, and voice disorders.
- Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s needs, ensuring therapy goals are measurable and achievable.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly evaluate student progress and adjust therapy strategies as needed to ensure success.
- Collaboration: Work closely with school staff, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create a cohesive and supportive environment for students.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of therapy sessions, assessments, and student progress reports.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current NY State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Previous experience providing speech therapy to children, ideally in a school or clinical setting.
- Experience with teletherapy platforms and delivering services virtually is a plus.
- ASHA Certification (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage students and families in a remote learning environment.
- Must be able to work independently as a 1099 contractor, managing your schedule and caseload effectively.
