Travel Speech-Language Pathologist, Vacaville CA

Calling on SLPs seeking a travel assignment in northern California. Soliant is working with a district in the area of Vacaville, CA to fill 2 SLP openings in the upcoming year.
We seek applicants with the following core competencies:
- Solid problem solving skills: be curious, ask questions, and think your way around a problem
- Flexibility: manage shifting priorities and uncertainties that may arise due to poor communication or lack of information
- Good written and verbal communication skills. Students, staff and parents depend on you to treat, coach and educate them
- Organization skills: maintain accurate records and create a system for sharing information with others
- Up-to-date knowledge of speech and language disorders, therapy or activities for school children, and Special Education procedures in a public school setting
Building assignments consist of a high school/elementary school split, as well as a preschool/elementary split.
Students consist in large part of children from Air Force families; on-site SLPs will need to familiarize themselves with driving guidelines on base.
Education and license requirements:
- Master's degree in Communication Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
- California license in Speech-Language Pathology (Soliant can provide guidance in the process)
