Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services to students in a school district located in Richwood, Ohio. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students. Working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals, you will develop personalized intervention plans that support students in their academic and social development.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and screenings to identify speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students with communication disorders.
  • Provide direct therapy to students both individually and in group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student progress.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals.
  • Monitor and document student progress and adjust intervention strategies as necessary.
  • Provide resources and education to staff and families on speech-language development.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding speech services in schools.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Active SLP licensure in the state of Ohio.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates are welcome to apply.
  • Experience working in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations.
  • Knowledge of IEPs, IDEA, and other special education guidelines.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic school environment and manage a diverse caseload.
