About the Role:
- Job Title: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (Travel)
- Location: Troup, TX
- Employment Type: Full-Time/Part-Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, treat, and support students with diverse speech, language, and communication needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and professionals to create and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and progress evaluations.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Actively participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and ongoing professional development.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Active Texas SLPA license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Certification: Minimum of 50 hours of observation and direct clinical service, as specified by Assistant’s License requirements; Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license, issued by the Texas Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
- Skills: Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience: Prior school-based experience is a plus but not required.
