Travel Contract: Speech-Language Pathologist, Oakley, CA

Calling on Speech-Language Pathologists who want to live and work in Oakley, CA! Soliant is working with several school districts in the East Bay, and is seeking travel Contractors for 12- to 18-week contracts.
Requirements:
- California SLP license
- Previous schools experience strongly desired
What is a travel assignment?
- If you will be relocating or arranging temporary housing 75+ miles from your current home, you qualify for a tax free living allowance
Pay and Benefits:
- Weekly pay of $2700 to $2900 per week (before taxes)
- Health, vision and dental insurance
- Relocation reimbursement to help your move to and from Oakley, CA
- Paid sick leave
As a school-based SLP, the applicant will:
- Assess students for communication delays or speech impairments
- Report on test results and make recommendations for appropriate goals and therapy plans
- Consult with colleagues, students, and/or parents on a regular basis; ensure accurate records in order to update progress reports
- Participate in a evaluative and consultative processes to ensure children are getting appropriate support, including: Child Find, Speech Screenings, Response to Intervention, Record Review, Eligibility and Dismissal meetings
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to Special Education and FERPA
