We are now hiring a School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work with K-12 students in Los Angeles, CA! Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to meet students’ unique communication needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress in the classroom and at home.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to address articulation, fluency, voice, and language development issues.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans to ensure goals are achieved.
- Participate in IEP meetings, working with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic support to students.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records, documenting student evaluations, progress, and treatment plans.
- Serve as a resource for classroom teachers, offering strategies to help students meet communication goals in a classroom setting.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active California Speech-Language Pathology License and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of communication disorders, IEP processes, and best practices for school-based therapy.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a passion for student success.
