Job Title: Teletherapy Speech Pathologist (Contract - 1099) - School Based in Utah
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Teletherapy Speech Pathologist in Utah to join our team on a 1099 contract basis. As a Virtual Speech Pathologist, you will provide high-quality speech and language services to school-aged children in a virtual setting. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely while making a meaningful impact on the lives of students.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals for students.
- Provide virtual therapy sessions to students, utilizing evidence-based techniques and strategies.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs.
- Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
- Offer virtual consultations and training to parents and caregivers on speech and language strategies.
- Stay updated on best practices and advancements in the field of speech pathology.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Valid Utah licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Prior experience in providing speech and language services to school-aged children.
- Proficient in conducting virtual assessments, evaluations, and therapy sessions.
- Strong knowledge of various speech and language disorders and intervention techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
- Access to a reliable high-speed internet connection and appropriate technology for virtual sessions.
Contract Details:
- This is a 1099 contract position, offering flexible hours based on student needs and caseload.
- Compensation will be based on experience and hours worked.
