Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the needs of each client.
- Implement therapeutic activities and exercises to improve communication skills.
- Provide education and guidance to clients and their families regarding communication strategies and techniques.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals as needed.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Vermont state license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) issued by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Experience working with schools
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
