Job Description: As a Speech-Language Pathologist at VocoVision, you will work virtually to provide customized teletherapy services to children. Working together with educators, parents, and administration, you will create and integrate specialized personal treatment plans that meet the needs of every individual student.
What You Require:
- Must have a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- You must have a current Oregon license
- Recognize specific communication issues, such as stuttering, voice issues, language delays, and articulation difficulties
- Be able to use teletherapy platforms and technologies effectively
- Must have excellent communication abilities with children
- Minimum of 2 yrs of experience in a school
- Must be okay with being an independent contractor with a 1099
Details:
- Use visual aids and standardized examinations to evaluate problems in voice, language, speech, and fluency in students
- Determine communication difficulties you have, such as voice problems, stuttering, language delays, and articulation problems
- Track and record student development, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Work together to ensure student achievement with parents and teachers
- Primarily handling a caseload within K–12
- Throughout your project, the VocoVision Team will be at your disposal for assistance, and our toolbox will provide you with resources to improve your classroom
