Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. In this telepractice role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in students. Working remotely, you will collaborate with educators, parents, and school teams to develop and implement effective therapy plans tailored to each student's individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to evaluate student communication skills.
- Create and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) based on student assessments and goals.
- Provide teletherapy services, offering both individual and small group therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure comprehensive student support.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans to promote continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and IEP progress.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active NC state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working in school-based settings or with pediatric populations is highly preferred.
- Experience delivering teletherapy services is a plus.
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation.
