Teletherapy Speech Language Pathologist | Job in Illinois
Joliet, IL
Join a dynamic and supportive team providing exceptional speech therapy services to K-12 students in a progressive Illinois school district. Our district values innovative, flexible approaches to student learning and well-being, and we’re seeking a dedicated Remote Speech-Language Pathologist to support our students' communication needs virtually.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Valid Maryland SLP license and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP).
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, but not required.
- Proficient with virtual therapy platforms and technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders via a teletherapy platform.
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and create Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure students’ progress and success.
- Attend virtual IEP meetings and other relevant school-based meetings.
